Privacy Policy

Hido exists so you don't have to hand your real address to every website. We keep the least we can to route your mail, we never sell it, and you can burn any alias — or your whole account — whenever you like.

Your account email and a hashed password (or a linked Google identity if you signed in that way).

The aliases you create and the real destination address they forward to.

Messages delivered to your aliases, so you can read them in your inbox. You can delete any of them at any time.

Basic operational logs — delivery timing and routing headers — kept only as long as needed to deliver mail and stop abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. There is no advertising business here to feed.

We do not read your mail for profiling. Messages are forwarded to your real inbox and kept there for you — never mined or sold.

We do not require your real identity — an email address is enough.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to send and receive mail and to run the service. They process data only on our instructions and only to keep Hido working.

You can export nothing and delete everything: the account settings include a one-tap account deletion that erases your aliases, stored mail, and domains with no archive kept.
